Miranda Biehle is in her first year as a member of the Lamar athletic department, joining the staff as assistant athletic director for marketing and development in July 2006.

Biehle is responsible for developing and implementing all pre-game and in-game promotional activities for home events. In addition, she helps cultivate and solicit donors and corporate sponsor prospects, maintains advertising in local newspapers, radio and television, and acts as the main contact for all licensing agreements.

Prior to Lamar, Biehle worked in pharmaceutical sales for the First Horizon Pharmaceutical Corporation. She was involved in th elaunch of new products and re-launch of old products for the company. She was in charge of visiting local pharmacies to determine pricing information.

Before working with First Horizon, Biehle was an account executive for KBMT-TV Channel 12 in Beaumont.

Biehle earned a bachelor of fine arts degree in radio/television from Sam Houston State University.
