Jason Henderson is in his second year as a member of the Lamar athletic department, joining the staff in April 2006. Hired as the Compliance Coordinator, Henderson was elevated to Associate AD for Compliance in July 2007. Henderson oversees NCAA compliance and scholarships and serves as game manager for all home men's athletic events. Prior to Lamar, Henderson served as the academic coordinator at Texas A&M-Kingsville where he collected and maintained data on student-athletes, assisted with updating and maintaining compliance documents and assisted with rules education for department staff and student-athletes. Henderson was also an intern at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Ky. and Texas A&M. Henderson earned a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology with a specialization in sports management from Texas A&M and a master of business administration from Texas A&M-Kingsville. |
