Sisk Outstanding In 9-2 Win Over Northwestern State
Lamar scored four runs in the fourth inning and that was more than enough of a cushion for Brian Sisk as he struck out five in eight innings to lead the Cardinals past Northwestern State 9-2 at Brown-Stroud Field in the first game of their three-game Southland Conference series Friday. |

Lamar Baseball Game At Houston Canceled
Tuesday's Lamar baseball game at Houston has been canceled due to wet field conditions at Cougar Field. The game will not be made-up. The contest was actually a make-up date from the March 18 game that was postponed due to potential rain in the Houston area. |
