Lamar In Sixth After Hootie At Bulls Bay Second Round

AWENDAW, S.C. -- The Lamar men's golf team is in sixth place at the Hootie At Bulls Bay Intercollegiate following Monday's second round of play. Lamar shot a 294 to bring its two-day score to 580, one shot behind fifth-place and 13th-ranked Auburn. No. 15 South Carolina leads the 15-team field with a 566, North Carolina State is second at 567, No. 16 Clemson is third at 569 and No. 8 Florida is in fourth at 570. The Cardinals have been led by Justin Harding, who is tied for fifth at 141 after firing a 74 on Monday. Casey Clendenon had the low round in the Lamar lineup with an even-par 71. He is tied for 19th at 144. Hugues Joannes is tied for 37th at 147 following a 74 on Monday. Russell Helson posted his second-consecutive 75 and is tied for 55th at 150, while Leroux Ferriera is tied for 65th at 153. Play concludes on Tuesday with the final round. Lamar is paired with Florida and Auburn and will tee off at 9:40 a.m. ET.
