RIM TO RIM WITH LADY CARDINAL BASKETBALL:

LamarCardinals.com cornered outstanding point guard Ashley Crawford and got an in-depth look at the floor general for the Lady Cardinals. Crawford comes to Lamar from a very successful one year stint at Trinity Valley College and led them to a conference championship. Crawford will have 3 years of eligibility for Lamar.

LC: What do you like the most about playing point guard? AC: Being the general on the floor and making my teammates better.

LC: If you were the Head Coach for the Lady Cardinals for one day, what would be the first thing that you would do? AC: Sit down and get to know my players.

LC: What has you excited the most about the upcoming season? AC: The "surprise factor" No one knows what we can do yet, but us.

LC: If there was a movie made about your life, what would be the title? AC: Never settle

LC: Who is the actress who would play the role of you in your movie? AC: Sanya Lathin

LC: Where would you select as your ideal vacation spot? AC: Italy

LC: What is your major academic interest at Lamar and how are you pursuing that interest? AC: Kinesiology. I want to become a collegiate basketball coach.

LC: What is the best advice that you would give to an incoming freshman student/athlete? AC: Manage your time wisely.

LC: What is your favorite play to play outside of the Montagne Center? AC: The recreation center or in my neighborhood back home.

LC: What is your relationship with Gospel Superstar Yolanda Adams? AC: She is my second mother! She has been a part of my life since I was 4 and continues to bless my life with guidance daily.
